I have had NO access to Gmail since late January on this computer
I have been seeing Nonstop 404 type error pages and Suggestions about ActiveX failure Frown
Somebody posted a site which had some interesting links ( contents a bit skinny?)
And I spotted a link to regain access to secure sites (about 235K)
I downloaded it and ran a Bat routine of Half a dozen lines
Logged into Gmail and it started up Perfectly Cool
Now I'll have to see if M$ AutoUpdates works again and If I can get into Netscape? Roll Eyes
(they went down at the same time)
Worth a try if you are frustrated with this issue?
There are 2 versions 1 for Win 2000 & XP the other for Windows 98 & ME
You'll find them listed on the Utilities link and the Secure Sites Fix section(2 links)
www.webfixes.co.uk/
Ps There is an Old and new site working side by side can use either .
No auto redirect on the pages Wink
Late news M$ AutoUpdates are working again loaded 10 items/7MB (Playing catchup?)
Only place I have to check out now is MSN (and the Windows Passport sites) I think these will be accessible now Smile
This program may be ok for those people who have access probs with those sites as well
I had a lot of programs with denied access Mad
