To Remove Shine or Press-marks

1. Lay the material on the ironing-board with the side upward from which the shine is to be removed.
2. Lay a damp cloth over the shiny part.
3. Place a hot iron over the damp cloth, letting the iron remain until the shiny spot has been well steamed.
4. Remove the iron and cloth very quickly and brush the steam into the material.

Hope this helps. Welcome to the pool! Smile

The best remedy is to prevent the shine. You can prevent the shine by ironing the garment on the underside first, to get all wrinkles out, then turn it on the right side and place a dry cloth (I use a pillowcase) on it, and slightly press again.

Clare, it's nice to know though that there is also a cure. Very informational link.
