Easy- Fill tub with warm water, proper amt of LIGUID soap and color safe bleach, and put pillow in and squeeze all of the air out and let them soak for awhile..

I do not agitate for fear the ticking may be a tad weak... Spin off the soapy water, and fill with rinse water with a tad of softener in it....and then do the squeeze trick again...You may want to do 2 rinses...Spin dry real good and put in the dryer on fluff (no heat).. I usually put mine out in the sun if possible..

I have taken and emptied the feathers into a bag, then washed the ticking by itself.

A bit messy - but it gets the job done... roll eyes

I have used a really cleaned out shop vac with a newer filter to suck the down out. Wash the covers then re-stuff them.

The "Kirby" man should me that one but he was able to blow the down back in after the covers were cleaned.

The advantage to this method is it will "Fluff" the feathers.
