I was wondering if you knew any good quotes from either a Spanish or American tribe member. I'm trying to find one I can use in my paper, but am running into troubles. We're researching it during the 17th century and it is on The Spanish taking over Native American lands. Thanks for any help you can give!

Angelbaby,
Would it possible for you to be a little more specific about the angle you are writing your paper from? I tried just to search for some generic quotes based on the timeframe, but didn't come up with very much. If you could tell us just a little more of what you are writing, it would be helpful.

This website has information on Spanish-Indian Relations in the 17th Century. There are a number of quotes throughout the story, especially half-way down the page.. I hope that they are of help to you.
