Perhaps one of you might want to expand on your answer; who is Lord Leaverhulme ? I think the other people reading this copy and paste game from other sites should at least be told who the speakers are or where you get these questions.

Sorry wrong answer it was actually John Wanamaker an American merchant, in the men's clothing business.He formed John Wanamaker and Co, one of the first department stores in the US.
