Don't know where she gets her ideas from Pubs and bars here require proof of age of anyone who appears to the staff to be possibly under age, a requirement satisfied by production of a driving licence or a young person's i.d. card.We have a similar practice in shops, not just for the sale of alcohol but for such things as solvents where the sale is age-restricted.

Hayden Panatierre was born in August 1989, so it's legal for her to buy alcohol in Britain but she might well find that she's asked for i.d. nonetheless.
