What 18th Century poet said that Lake Pepin, a part of the Mississippi between Wisconsin and Minnesota, "ought to be visited in the summer by every poet and painter in the land" ?

This stretch, wrote 19th Century poet William Cullen Bryant, "ought to be visited in the summer by every poet and painter in the land." Thankfully, plain old gawkers get to see it too.

Oh! And my apologies for putting that it was an 18th Century poet...sure, he was BORN in the 18th century, but obviously was a 19th Century poet.

(Forgive me, I'm still new at this trivia stuff)
