While this should be in a Literature/Written Word category, there is none, so I put it here, and it fits. Please identify the author, title, and supply only the next stanza. All subsequent posters should add one stanza, until we are complete.

In the First Edition, first issue, of 'Alice Through the Looking-glass' the word 'wabe' was printed as 'wade' Sadly for anyone who finds one this adds nothing to the value: the issue had such a big print run that a clean copy still only fetches about £100 ($200 )
