I really need help. I am doing this project and the lab report is due monday Oct.24,2005. Does any body know the Heat of Neutralization of HCl and NaOH solutions. If you do please notify me and if you dont but you know a site where to find it please tell me also. If your post dosent fit this u can email me at the address in my profile. Another thing is how would u setup a molarity formula if you had 50 ml of 1M HCl and 50 mL of 1M NaOH.

From the Chemistry section your experiment is set up to measure these values. Answer posted there for some help with the home work..
For your question of Molarity. M*V = M*V This little equation works well Molarity * volume (before)= Molarity * volume after For your expirment you were starting with 50ml of 1 M HCL and diluting to 100ml 0.05 L * 1M/L = X * 0.100L solve for X you have .100 L of 0.5M HCL.. The concentration of the NaOH was changed in the same way.. |
