is there such a device as a hand held conversion calculator? I am taking a chemistry class and wanted to know if there is such a thing. I have searched the web, but maybe I am using the wrong termenology in my search.
Anyone know of a personal conversion calculator? Please email me with the answer. |

You can find an online version here - Chemline they also have a resources link which may lead to a physical device. I have not seen one anywhere myself.

I use a TI36.. It has quite a few basic conversion factors built in with a few constants as well. TI83 or other programables can convert anything you'd like. Ther may be some special downloads available for your specialty. Fisher Scientific has several calcuators with lots of conversions but they tend to be basic on the other functions avialable. Basically you 'get's what you pays for'. I'd recommend a few basic coversions over dozens that you'd rarely use. A programable calculator or spreadsheet.
