What information is required in a good script?
except the lines of the characters, is the background of the characters required..

ive never thought that it woyld be that complicated

This site looks extremely useful. It gives some information about the differences between writing for theatre and film, and includes examples of manuscripts.

There are also books out there about this topic. If you're interested, go to Amazon.com and do a search for "playwriting," "write a play" or "writing a play".
