This dish can be made in numerous ways. I will give the basic instructions, and then a few suggestions.
Pasta Whatever
½ Ramen noodle pkg ¼ of a one lb bag of frozen veggies 3 oz meat of your choice
Put noodles and veggies in covered dish. Add about 2-3 oz water. Microwave covered for 2-3 minutes. (Time may vary with power of microwave.)
Now the fun part...
Want Oriental? Add half the seasoning packet from the package of Oriental Ramen noodles. Use frozen Oriental veggies. Add soy or teriyaki sauce. Want it to taste (somewhat) like stir-fry pork? Add half the packet from pork Ramen noodles and some soy or teriyaki sauce. Want Shrimp? There is shrimp Ramen, too. To add meat, use some leftover meat. (I shave left-over pork to add to this.) You can buy frozen salad shrimp and add half a package. Left-over fish works with this, too, or a can of drained tuna.)
But you want Italian? Use frozen Italian veggies and 4-6 oz of marinara sauce with or without meat. Add oregano, basil, and garlic.
You can add garlic to both of the above variations, and diced onions. Dehydrated garlic and minced onions should be added before cooking. (Big Lots carries really cheap spices.)
Note: If you aren't adding a great deal of meat, use the whole package of Ramen noodles. Just make sure you have plenty of veggies.
This dish tales less than 5 minutes, including all prep time.
