By Dogspit:

One pound of ground beef, eighty-percent lean
One small white onion, chopped up really fine
Two fifteen ounce cans of tomato sauce
(I prefer to use the store brand in mine)

One fifteen ounce can of diced tomatoes
And two fifteen ounce cans of pinto beans
A package of McCormick's chili mix
(That's the brand I use...whatever that means)

One-fourth teaspoon each of pepper and salt
You can add more to taste later you know
Now one half teaspoon of chili powder
And a minced garlic clove...now we can go

Brown the beef and the onion, draining well
Then pour those two things into the crock pot
Now add the remaining ingredients
Lastly stir together the entire lot

Cover and cook on low for 8 - 10 hours
You should get six servings sure to please
I like mine best with some saltine crackers
And just a little shredded cheddar cheese
