Last night I cooked a very thick Ham steak on the grill and kept basting it with Apricot/Peach jam.....B-U-T..... I added: about a tablespoon of Rum to about 3/4 cup of the jam.... OMG - what a difference it made - it enhanced the flavors of the jam fantastically....
Had it on toast this morning too..... Terrific..
I can see where it would also be great on fresh grilled Tuna, Thick Cut Pork Chops and a lot of other dinners....
