A lot of my friends from seminary have been getting married recently and I was wondering is it considered rude to get a gift only aimed at the bride? In the past two weddings I've been to, I didn't even know the grooms name....

Do the couple have a wedding present list? If not , anything that you buy to help them set up their home will, I'm sure, be appreciated.

No they don't. The bride always wears her hair covered so I was thinking of getting some hats and head scarves, but it's not like anything the groom will ever use.....

If you only know the bride, I see no reason why not to focus your gift only on the bride.
