My sister is getting married in June and needs some ideas for gifts to the groomsmen from the groom. We have checked a few books but just can not come up with any good ideas.
The only "rule" is that the gift should be of some permanance...otherwise, nearly anything goes....Myself, I am a big fan of personalized gifts.Depending on the budget, there are all sorts of possibilities...We only had our Best Men, and we gave each a pocket watch engraved with their initials on the back and a brief thank you and the wedding date on the penknife on the other end of the fob...for a tighter budget a personalized pocket knife or small hip flask might be suitable, or money clips. Cufflinks are good, too. Are the groomsmen beer drinkers? A nice beer mug engraved with their initials and the date might go over well...Most engravers carry a good selection of gift items that can be personalized. It has also become quite affordable to order a case of wine with a customized label...If they're wine drinkers, a bottle or two of "wedding wine" might be quite welcome. I know this answer is coming a bit late, I hope if it is too late to be of help to your sister, that it sparks some ideas for someone else... PS while such momentos should be of roughly equal value, they need not be identicle...it is perfectly proper to give different gifts to each attendant. PPS....How did you come by your nickname? I ask because Krell is my maiden name...

you should think about giving you gm with things that they can use like bottle openers, shot glasses, cuff links or pocket watches. you can also engrave these with their names to give it a personal touch.
