generally, one performs what the other cannot. In otherwords, what one can't do, the other one can.

But there are more things a food processor can do compared to a blender.

Food processors are excellent for solid foods whereas a blender works wonders with liquids, like batters or frostings.

I was just thinking about this as I was getting ready for work.

I realized that a blender works wonders with liquids, like batters or frostings.
I was thinking mixer. Like a stand mixer or a hand mixer.

A blender is good for salad dressings like vinigrettes or it is good for drinks like shakes or smoothies. Also great for crushing ice and to puree fruits or vegetables.

I apologize for the goof! Red Face
