According to most web sites with factual information on metch-Kangmi also known as the abominable snowman or yeti that it is indeed an urban legend and that no there is no concrete evidence to support its existence. In 1960 Sir Edmund Hillary who climbed Mount Everest went on an exposition in search of this so-called creature He declared it as an legend after spending 10 months in the Himalayas.

Desmond Doig spent thirty years in the Himalayas in search of it also; he finally concluded that it was more likely to be a rare Tibetan blue bear. Scientific authorities on the subject agree that it is a legend for there is no concrete evidence to prove its existence.

I beg to differ
According to my knowledge,
there Is concrete proof pertaining to the existence of such a creature.

Umn, right now I am pretty busy with my exams;
just wait till they are finished and
I promise to share all I've got.
Actually, (in 1998 maybe) this topic somehow caught my interest and I read as much stuff available regarding it.
Once free, I'll rumage through my store and see if I can find anything interesting...
