Does anyone know anything about this name? I've heard that it is the city in Scotland that comes alive one day out of every hundred years. Are there any documents or anything to verify this?

Do you mean Brigadoon?

Brigadoon is a musical written by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe. It is the story of a Scottish village called Brigadoon which became enchanted. Though invisible to the outside world, the community carries on unchanged and only "appears" for one day every hundred years.

Couldn't find anything on Glenmore (or Glenmoor) matching this, but it sure sounds like Brigadoon to me...Here's a bit about the musical and the legend behind it.

A Scottish city that only comes alive every hundred years ? Hmm. Sounds like Dundee to me.
(Could be wrong but I don't know anyone old who can remember the last time the place was alive, even for one day Big Grin )

Actually, it's the name of the street I live on. I saw a reference in a children's book to this name, but I can't remember which one. Guess I'll have to find the person who named the street and ask them, if they are still around. Thanks anyway!
