I had a pair of black slip on shoes that were manufactored by Sketchers.. The material was cordoroy. I absolutely loved these shoes, and can't find them anywhere. I have looked on the site, ebay, yahoo, and google.. Can anyone help me?

Were they slip on tennis shoes?
And could they possibly have been made out of canvas instead of corduroy? I've found Skechers shoe that fit this description.

If you are certain they were corduroy are you certain they were Skecher? Ryka makes a corduroy shoe. Ryka Walking Clogs

Yes ma'am they were Sketchers.. And they were definetly made out of cordoroy.. Its hard to describe what they looked like. The best way that I can describe them is, well I have a house shoe that looks like them, except they are not made out of cordoroy, and they don't have a thick rubber sole.. but the shape and style are similar.. The Sketcher shoes looked like that but with cordoroy as the material.

Oh, ok. I know exactly the pair that you are talking about. Have a good friend who loves them. She used to be my neighbor and now lives in Utah. I'll ask her if she knows if they are still available.

Updated:
I chatted with my friend last night. She says she has not seen those shoes in the past 2 years but she is desperate for a replacement pair...so if you find out if you can still get them please let her know Wink

I emailed Sketchers yesterday. This is their response:

Dear Clare,

Unfortunately without a name or the item number of the shoes you are inquiring about, we are unable to offer any information about that particular item.

We offer a limited selection of our most popular styles on our website. You should visit a Sketchers company store for a larger selection of Sketchers products. To find a Sketchers store or other retailers that carry Sketchers in your area please visit our store locator at
http://www.skechers.com/storefinder/default.jhtml.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The site didn't have any there. If you can get the product number they can search to see if they have it. I know Sketchers is always changing their styles each season. I find it near impossible to find the same brand I bought before. I can't even find the ones I bought a few months ago. The only ones they do not change are the sketcher sport white ones. Let me know if you can find the name, make or product number and I will email them again. Smile

P.S. What size shoe do you wear? I can keep looking.
