I'm looking for the documentary titled "Whole" by Melody Gilbert. I know it is available on her official website, but it's $35 there, and I really can't afford that. The documentary is about people with mental disorders who want or have had a healthy limb surgically removed. Either VHS or DVD is fine.

If anyone knows where I can find this, please let me know. I've already checked eBay, and there's none there. I'm also interested in her latest documentary about people who don't feel pain. I'm not sure what the title of that one is.

Thanks! Big Grin

The only place I found it at all was Netflix - Maybe you have a friend that uses the service? Or were you hoping to have them to own?

Also, you might check at your local library, if it's a large enough one that it has DVD documentaries available.

The second title is "A Life Without Pain"

Good Luck!

SmileIf you don't want to own it, and are just content to borrow it, it might be worth putting in a request at your library that they purchase the titles.
From my own experience, I am a librarian at a rural library here in Canada and we always encourage such requests from the public. That way the library is purchasing something the public really wants and not just something that we anticipate they might me interested in.

Like Giz, I coudn't find it for sale on the net either.
Maybe another way to borrow it, is to contact a support organisation that covers the topics. For example I know that such organisations for mental disabilities of childhood diseases, just as two examples, have extensive lending libraries. Hope this is of some help.
