A freind said she wants to start buying only USA made items (her apple juice this am was made in China) now she wants to know if there is a site that will list all USA made stuff so she knows what to purchase....Thanks

There are actually standards of what is "Made in the USA". Much of the product or parts need to be made in the USA.

Even if it's marked Made inthe USA, it may not really mean that. Thanks to Tom DeLay and friends, a few US possessions in the Pacific can state that, and they use essentially slave labor to make their products.

I find that trying to buy only things made in America really cuts down on my frivolous spending. "Oh, what a cute shirt! Made in Taiwan? Never mind!" "Oh, I really want that unnecessary Halloween decoration! Made in China? Guess I don't really need it, do I?"

I came across a few websites for businesses that seem to be serious about American made, if you are looking for kids' toys...
