I've been trying to get some response from Bar-S Foods in Phoenix since mid-December. I bought a 16-oz package of bacon but the product and inside packaging weighed only 13.7 ounces. I emailed them twice, sent a letter and called twice. They have a "Satisfaction Guaranteed" policy but I have yet to be satisfied. The store where I bought it will refund my money but I want to hear from the company, telling me what they've done to prevent this error.
Anyone know anything about this place? I checked the BBB website for Phoenix and they aren't listed, even as a non-member. I sent an email to the BBB there this morning. Thanks!!

I just want to make sure I understand the question. You bought a package of bacon. Got home and either decided to weigh it yourself or noticed that 2 strips of bacon were missing. This is why you are not satisifed? You can get your money back from the grocer but instead you want to talk with someone connected with Bar-S Foods to find out why your package weighed 2.4 oz less then what was advertised?
Good luck - if anyone ever got in touch with you they would probably tell you it was a production error. And per their own website, their definition of Satisfaction Guaranteed was that the quality of product fullfilled your need, desire, or appetite. Does not say anything about quantity
They do state that that they will replace an item if not satisifed. Keep on them for that and if they never replace the item (probably via a coupon worth the value of the product) then you can file your own complaint against them with the BBB. They are only obligated to replace the item, not to correspond with you and explain why the product weight was off.
The Bar-S Definition: Product replaced if not satisfied.
