Magic Bullet blender/chopper

Express 101 grill/sandwich maker

Could anyone provide me with any information about these two kitchen gadgets? I've seen the infomercials, but I want to see opinions from people who have used the products. There are many websites for buying the items, but nothing I can find about rating.

I received the Magic Bullet in the mail two days ago. I've made smoothies and muffins so far. Not the best at chopping ice, but it's a damn sight better than cleaning that huge unwieldy blender. The big blender motor burns out quickly. I've had to replace mine twice. I'm hoping this stands up to wear and tear.

I don't even have to see the infomercial to tell anyone to use the basics. Pay top dollar for the best of the best kitchen knives, pots and pans, and any other basic item. It's worth it.

My mother is a kitchen gadget collector. The problem usually is cleaning this fast equipment. It takes more time than if you stuck with tried and true basic stuff. You have to store these things that are specific for one purpose and the next time you decide to use it, don't be shocked to find rust on it.

Avoid!!
