Please list websites you would recommend for their merchandise selection/quality, particularly in these categories:

* petite women's clothing/accessories/jewelry
* furniture/decorating/gardening
* electronics/computer stuff
* pet paraphernalia
* gifts

Sue, I must say that I haven't been too disappointed with ebay. As you know --- they carry all of those things and more.

Maybe I've just been lucky - so far.... who knows! Wink

I'd start with Froogle off the Google Home page then change the country link Say to Google.co.uk (quite a few different) to see further localised choices
Also on Google on the More>> link there is Google Catalogswhere you can browse real Mail order catalogs from all over the world Scanned into Googles computer Cool
Other sites I like are www.buyersindex.com Show all sorts of links (bar Ebay type items)
and www.catalink.com where you can order almost any UK Mail order catalog or brochure in Print.Almost all are free.... (there are other linked sites for more of the same at the foot of the page ) PS Quite a few of these will ship abroad Smile

We have found some astounding deals on Overstock - and often there is free shipping.

As with any site (or store for that matter), they have some things that aren't a deal at all...but if you're a good shopper you can find some great stuff! Big Grin

I've always had luck with JCPenneys.com and Macys.com for clothing and some toys. I've just heard about a site called Buy.com -- that it's pretty good but haven't used it myself yet.
I'm also very tempted to order from Ikea.com -- I like their look -- simple and inexpensive. Just wish that there was an Ikea store closer to here.

Winterthurgifts has some wonderful gift items. I was very pleased with the quality. Their suncatchers are high quality and reasonably priced. They sell home and garden items, jewelry and a variety other gifts. Very nice store. Winterthurgifts

My two favorite computer gift sites are Computergear and Jinx (they have some creative t-shirts)

I hope you get some more responses.

I sometimes check to see which sites are offering deals or printable coupons. The best sites I have found are:

Hot Deals Club

Keycode Shopping

Deal Catcher

They usually have the 10% off Overstock coupon codes. The sites have in store coupons, free trial coupons, Petco deals, rebates, and the hot deals for Kohls, Amazon, Target and many others. Be sure to check the expiration dates.
