Does anyone have any ideas for inexpensive Christmas gifts that don't scream cheap for adults?

Without being a wise guy, it would help a bunch to know your definition of inexpensive. Less than $ 5, 10, 20, 50? Also gender would probably help, too.

I'm talking about parents, brother, sister, grandma. These are adults that buy what they want. Christmas is adding up to a large figure with so many people to buy for. I have two teen kids with expensive wants already.

if they buy what they want, sounds like no matter what you "buy" them, they either already have it or they don't want it.

How about some gifts from the kitchen???? You can buy really pretty bottles and jars - make things like infused oils for cooking, jams, sauces (for desserts and such). There are alot of creative gifts you can make yourself - not expensive either - and they will likely enjoy them more than they would something you went out and bought for the sake of getting something...

Good idea Lydia! I'm not exactly the most creative person in the world. That's exactly what I feel like I'm doing every year, just throwing money around on something no one wants or needs. Project ideas appreciated!

When I'm stuck and pressed for time, gift certificates/cards come in really handy. Just find out what his/her favorite store is. When you think about it, it's cool because they get to pick out what they want.

Why not make a gift of your time. Make little cetificates of "I own you 1 hour oc help around the house" or I ows youa nice home cooked dinner". Thake these little certificates sort of fancy with Print Shop, etc. Then they can redeem them when it works out for both of up.

Most people don't need more stuff, but quality time with family is always at a premium. Smile

I raid the Dollar Stores and make up baskets....bath stuff, tea & cookies with a cute plate & cup, or a grouping of candles with a pretty holder....5-10 bucks looks much better when it's a grouping of related items than when it's a single objectWink
Last year, everyone got my now famous banana bread or muffins in a pretty fruit basket from the Dollar Tree...total cost per gift about 3 bucks, including the coloured saran wrap.
