William Sonoma has discontinued carrying the Cambridge Flatware (which sells for nearly $300 per 4 place settings). I have 8 and need at least 12!!! Now that I've invested almost $600, I find out they don't have any more! Does anyone know how I might find out if they are available anywhere else or who the manufacturer might have been?????

Unfortunately it is not Cambridge flatware...the pattern is called Cambridge, but it's not made by that company. I did find out it is made by a manufacturer in France called Lebrun Couverts, but I have been unsuccessful at getting them to respond to my emails.

Have you tried calling Williams Sonoma directly to see if they could point you in the right direction?

They might be able to recommend a replacement company that would have available sets. Worth a try.

I just had to post this...just to say what came of it.

A gentleman from California did a search online to find the same flatware and the only reference he found was my post looking for this item. He emailed me and inquired as to whether I found it or not. I had not heard back from the company in France that made the flatware and I just gave up. WELL, he contacted the company and learned that you had to order a minimum amount and he was trying to see if he could meet that.

He posted the item on eBay and had someone wanting to place an order as well. So, between the three of us, we were able to order the flatware from the company. I received my share of the items earlier this week.

SOOOOO...imagine that - someone searched online and just by finding this post we got what we wanted!!!
