The other day I went into town looking for a common easily available Household Textile Item (and visited several shops also the Market) Yet I did find a Similar Item on sale in all of these Places same design/color same size, at wildly varying prices ...all above my budget
And the only difference was there was a small store logo on the Packaging
Doesn't stop there I went to a different town the Previous week and Lo and Behold the same Item was in the stores here. Even the Non chain-stores and Specialist stores !

I Have 3 other Towns to Try for The Item I require without sending off for it online
But I know the other item will be "In My face" at these locations too!

As an ex Textile Worker The Reason for the Decline in Homemage Textile Goods. Was the "Cheap foreign Imports" But this is Going far too far!
If people realise the same item is on sale all over the Place Then somebodies going to end up with a Lot of stock that won't sell or sells to somebody who does not shop around.
NOTE The Only Stores you are Not going to find this in is Aldi,Lidl and Ikea who have their own supply chain

The same goes for many other Items Several chainstores are Blatant Copies of their Competitors selling the same items / near Same prices

The Latest Gimmick/Bargain is the £20($28) wheeled "Expandable" Suitcases (with Handle) they have a Stacked aisle of these In several colors Designs ...Question is the UK going on mass Vacation and Its a "Must Have"?

I have a Big Roller Holdall and I use it when I go shopping ...I paid £10($14) for it (NEW)

Roller cases? Mass vacation? Haven't you heard of the great St David's Day exodus ?

There must be holidays soon [Easter,half-term,Bank holidays etc] as evidenced by the fact that the easyJet fares to Nice have just shot up; these start at a few pounds for the flight but go up gradually as the flight fills.People are obviously booking and planning.As these cheap airlines now charge for having any hold luggage at all, there's an incentive for every passenger in a family or group to have a cabin case each and share the load, rather than one or two proper cases in the hold.That may create an incentive to get more cabin cases.Plus, the regular cases which are dirt cheap don't last long!

Some super and hyper markets, here and in France, do have extraordinary bulk special offers though.Lidl and Carrefour [France] are particularly eccentric.
