Clarebear, I feel your pain; A long time ago I too fell in love with the perfume. I remember when it went on clearance. I didnt know it was on clearance because they were discontinuing the line. I bought up a bunch of gift sets and sent a few to my sisters as christmas gifts. I bought up White Moonflowers and Sea of Dreams. Later when I returned to find out the line was no more I almost cried, silly I know.

I hunted the company down to NY where they told me they no longer cared the fragrance line. You were lucky enough to get the soap. All I had left was a few ounces in one bottle. Only on special occasions I would smell or use the perfume being careful as I slowly saw the bottle grow empty.
I bugged my sister in Ohio whom I had sent one of the bottles to as a gift for christmas, asking her if she was using it and if not, if she could return it. She told me she never even got around to smelling it and that it was somewhere in her attic! Years past I was going to go to a purfume maker with the few ounces I had left and have it re-created.
A stroke of luck, just this week I was visiting my sister in Ohio and for some freaky reason the bottle I sent her was on her fridge! She has no idea how it got there. I had go to her kitchen and was in the fridge getting something to drink when something small fell from the top. I picked it up and gasped. When I asked my sister how it got there, she had no idea. I did not press the miracle only thanked God and my lucky stars.
Now I have an addtional .5 fl oz of the perfume and cherish it. I too have searched with little hope of ever finding a perfume to replace the scent of White Moonflowers. My ebay searches come up with nothing even close. I am also searching for Sea of Dreams. If anyone has any info please post. I have been googling this perfume now for years and this is the first post I've seen. Thanks for starting it!

Thanks
Jennafair

Have you tried contacting the cosmetic company that originally manufactured this for Sears? I believe they are still in business.

Hi Jennafair

Welcome to AnswerPool. *splash* Big Grin

I actually have 2 bottles Of White Moonflowers that I bought from Ebay. They surprisingly smell the same even though they are so old. You should try to save some of your perfume and see if someone can copy it. I will be doing that in the future. I think one of the problems is that the company I went to used soap instead of actual perfume to make the scent for me. (It was just awful) I did buy a white moonflowers from the Body Shop years ago and it just wasn't the same. If I find a good place to copy the perfume then I will post. In the meantime, just keep checking Ebay.

Georgia,

I tried the number you posted just a few minutes ago and it's another business. They said they've had the number for about 4 years. Thanks for checking for me. Smile

I just don't get it...I've looked up the company info using a cosmetic index as well as 2 business indexes and all show the same company name and address with the last update of 2006. Maybe just the phone number has changed?

True...I have access to phone numbers but only those in the BellSouth region...oops, make that AT&T...
The number might have changed but they might still be at that address. I'll see if I can find out anything.

****
Ok, guess the business is no longer at that address either...I found the name of the person who apparently lives there now. So much for that! Frown

Its driving me nuts I have scoured macy's sephora's and countless other perfume shops trying to find a scent that compares and with no success. I also am looking for their other scent Sea of Dreams. I will keep checking ebay I have it on my fav searches wish me luck. I will find a chemist and have the scent recreated!

Hi Ivy. Welcome to AnswerPool. Smile

I don't remember what happened when I called. I don't think they could do it. I'll call again when I get some time.

If you call the numbers Georgia listed before I do, please post and let me know. Smile
