The Sears line 'Circle of Beauty' was discontinued in 2001. I wrote the company about a fragrance called White Moonflowers. They sent me 5 bars of the left over soap they had. The beauty line was made exclusively for Sears. I really want to find this and have wasted money buying products that just weren't the same.
I have tried the body shoppe and other stores but they just can't match it.

Is there a company I can send a sample of the the soap or the gel to that can make a perfume match for me?

Clarebear - there is a place in Boston where I have had fragrances made that they will match a scent for you for either a spray or oil as well as soaps and other skincare items. The name of it is Desana Fragrances. THIS link will give you their information. Unfortunately, I do not think they have their own website, but if you called, they would be able to let you know if they would do a mail order like this. Given the area they are in, I know that a large percentage of their clients are travellers who likely have them ship product that they have purchased there before.

This little shop has every essential oil under the sun and if anyone would be able to recreate the scent for you, I'd bet that they could.

Let me know if you try them and what they say.

I also love a scent that seems to have been discontinued.

"Skin Musk" by Bonne Bell is not being offered even on their website anymore. It is such a lovely wonderful scent. A faint musk/sandlewood/flower sent.. very light and airy.

Lydia,

I can't get a hold of them. I left 3 messages on their phone already and they won't call me back. I don't even know if they connected me to the right place. It was a recording. Frown

Does anyone know any other places that will personalize perfume based on a sample? I have some lotion and soap of the fragrance. (The places online have custom scents but they just ask a few questions and make their own based on a profile)

I still have not been able to find this. Frown
Lydia, did you find anything out?

Does anyone else know of a place who makes custom perfume from a sample?

Clarebear - I just called the number I have and the answering machine indicates that they have closed their Boston office...(I'm not surprised as they were in the MOST expensive/exclusive shopping area in the state!!).

The answering machine did indicate though, they are still taking orders via telephone and you can leave a message with a phone number and the best time to contact you and they would return your call.

Give it a shot...call them at 1-888-5DE-SANA (888-533-7262). Hopefully this will work for you since I also wanted to stop by there and order some...guess I'll have to try via telephone as well...

Let me know if this works for you!

now I'm really curious as to whether they are doing anything or not. Since they have my "formula" on file and I'd like some...I'm going to call and leave my information and see if they call me back. Could be just taking orders from existing clients...dunno!!! Will let you know what I find out. If they do call me back, I'll ask them about what you want...

Hi everyone, I have been wearing Skin Musk for more than 20 years. Now that Prince Matchabelli purchased it from Bonne Belle - it is no longer available in Canada at all. I can't find a vendor who will ship it to Canada. Does anyone know a place that will take my Canadian Credit Card and ship to a Canadian address?

Hi SuesRomeo and welcome to Answerpool.
I found this site for you that will ship to Canada. You must phone in your order for Canada shipments. Click on the 'contact us' bit for the number. The prices are discounted as well! Smile

Good luck

You will find that happening quite a lot now Clare. A word or question typed into Google often gives links to threads at AnswerPool. That is the reason we have so many more guests on the site now. Big Grin

Sorry for this reply, but I think it's good news to share with members.

Clare, Did you ever get any new info on this perfume? I have a female friend that LOVES it and used to wear it when we were in HS about 20 years ago. I would really like to find some.

Hi tricky. Welcome to Answerpool. Smile

I did find 2 bottles on Ebay this past year. That is the only place I can find it. One of the bottles smells a little old; the other is fine. (they are years old so that is to be expected)

Ebay lists new items daily. Search for Circle of Beauty. Searching white moonflowers will only lead you to the flower seeds. If you see one on there, let me know if you are bidding and I won't. One of the bottles I won because I was the only bidder. I have seen the lotion on there a few times but I didn't bid on it.

Hi,
While searching on google I came across your posting for "Skin Musk." I too, love that scent. Bonne Belle sold out-the new company is Parfums de Coeur. You can purchase it right from them-www.parfumsdecoeur.com or your can go to amazon.com. Hope this info is helpful. Evelyn
