I am intrested in getting a rlling backpack so i won't have to carry one on my back. The thing is, every once in a while, i will need to carry my backpack. All the rolling backpacks i have seen have all been at least five pounds with nothing in them. I don't want to have to carry or pull the extra weight. Does anyone know of any rolling backpacks of good quality that are not that heavy? or the lightest one you can find?

I looked around online for backpacks that have the handle and wheels feature that would weigh less than 5 pounds. From what I have read, the lightest you can find would be a 4.25-pound Olympia. Olympia has a great rating and is a favorite for durability, comfort, fit, and control when pulling. The price ranges between 17 dollars and about 40 dollars depending upon which style you choose.

The pull out handle and wheels add about 2 or 3 pounds to a regular backpack. A 4 to 5 pound backpack is the lightest you’re going to find.

You may want to look at a child's rolling backpack. They would be much lighter than an adults but they would hold less stuff.

There is also the option of a cat carrier backpack on wheels.

You can also consider buying a lightweight foldable shopping roller only for days you need it. (That is if you can predict when you need it)
