I want to do something sweet for my boyfriend just to show him how much he means to me. Our 2 year anniversary was yesterday and we just decided not to get eachother anything and just spend the day together and we went out to eat and everything, it was great! So he had me CONVINCED that we wouldn't exchange gifts, but I couldn't go w/o getting him anything so I just got him a card and slipped it in his truck. Just about the time I thought I was all thoughtful and sweet, I get a dozen different colored roses in a big vase delivered to my house. They were BEAUTIFUL! He timed it perfectly. He left to go back to school yesterday at about 4, which was sad, but they delivered them about an hour later. He treats me SO good and had showed up with flowers for no reason before and everything and I want to give him a little something that has a LOT of meaning, not so much money value. I'd really like to make him something, but I'm not sure WHAT. I was thinking about just making him cookies and buying a lot of different valentine's candy and some of his favorite candy and making him a little goody bag to take back to school with him when he goes back after the weekend, but it just doesn't seem like enough. What else could I do, or make? A good idea for some of u girls that are looking for something to do for your boyfriend. Last Valentine's day I bought a pillow case that would match his room and the pillow to go in it, and scanned some pictures onto iron-on paper and bought a few heart patches and letters to iron on and made him a pillow, it was SO cute!

make a cookie basket.

you will need a cookie recipie, a loaf pan, cooking spray and aluminum foil.

cover the outside of the pan with the foil, then spray with cooking spray.
make the cookie recipie.
preheat oven to 350f.
roll the dough to 1/8 inch thick, cut out cookies with a heart shaped, or scalloped cookie cutter.
cover the pan with the cookies, overlapping them and pressing slightly to make sure they stick to each other. start from the bottom of the pan, make sure the pan is upside down. it wont work the other way (this i know from experience Roll Eyes)
bake the cookies until the edges are firm.
transfer pan to wire rack and cool completly.
carefully remove the cookie basket from the pan.

fill with other cookies and yummy stuff.
