We bought one recently and I've slept in it for a week now... omg, I'm in love! This week has included the best sleep I've had in 20 years, no foolin'. We bought it through one of the factory clearance programs for about half price ($549, including shipping) and I could not be happier with the purchase. Ours is refurbished, but I can't tell what componants had ever been used before... each piece was spotlessly clean, wrapped as if brand new and factory inspection tags all over the place, and it carries the same 20 year warranty as the full price/ brand new ones. Set up was pretty easy and the bed takes standard size sheets Took me two nights to find my number (35 for lounging, 45 for sleep).
Special note for allergy sufferers... this bed can be unzipped and vaccuumed out, the air bladders hosed down if needed, the mattress topper taken off and shaken out (They recommend spot cleaning only, but I'm willing to bet it can be washed in the tub and drip dried)... you can actually CLEAN it, which means you can sleep somewhere that does not make your allergies worse.
Anything else anyone wants to know, you have an owner in your midst so ask away

Are both sides of the bed adjustable or is the number you pick for the entire bed? If so, what do you do if you and your hubby want different numbers? Also, how do you figure out what number you are?

Yes, each side is adjustable so you don't have to have the same number or compromise in the middle (and no, the bed does not feel wierd at the middle point in between the two air bladders) To find your number, you lay in your normal sleep position and raise or lower the pressure until it feels right, then do just a little fine tuning to get it perfect.

Where did you find the refurbished bed? Is there a website i can go to? They're a great bed, but the price is so hefty!! Refurbished would be great! If you wouldn't mind, please email me with the site at my email I'd really appreciate it!! Thanks!

We got on their mailing list and recieved notice directly from the manufacturer when they were selling off the refurbished stock. This seems to happen quarterly. Just request their catalog and you'll get the flyer...and, by the way, I've recieved only 2 things from them since we bought the bed, so you're not letting yourself in for a ton of junk mail by requesting the information.

I don't know if MrsS will see this, but I DO know that, yes, she DOES still have it, loves it, and also fell in love with the mattress cushion topper as well. (This information obtained from her as further discussion about it occurred on Herport.)

Yes- I do still love my bed- to the point of saying so out loud virtually every time I lay down.
When we bought it, we bought the most basic model, I've loved it all along, my husband "liked" it but it was not perfect.
We recently added a memory foam topper and now this bed is just a little slice of heaven.
When buying, you might consider their "pillowtop" model, or plan on a topper.
Oh- I also had my first "warranty experience" My remote unit was having problems- still worked but the digital readout was very wonky, so I called, expecting to be told how to re-set something or to be sent forms or something, and to have to prove somehow that this was not the result of mis-use. They sent me a new pump & remote unit (these are part of a single componant)and return shipping label at no charge. No questions, no hassles.

Love it, love it, love it. We got some ridiculous deal with no interest for, like, three years as long as you make the minimum payment (which is les than our car payment was) so even though it’s expensive, it’s very affordable. We went with the 5000, with the pillow top extra special mattress pad thing-y and Swedish pillows. My husband loves his pillow, I am not thrilled with mine and am back to foam, but other than that, it’s great! I still wake up a lot at night, but I sleep much, much better and do have a more “recuperative sleep,” as they say. No more back and neck pain, either.
I’m definitely a fan.
