As MrsS has asked you a question in the thread, you can post your reply to her there.
If it is something that you feel isn't appropriate to post on the boards, you could e-mail a member if they show their e-mail in their profile. However, many members do not wish to be contacted, and so do not make their e-mail address public.
Occasionally when a member hasn't chosen to make their e-mail address public (as is the case with MrsS), we have contacted them on behalf of another member. However, we do respect a member's right to privacy so do not do this too often, and it is entirely their decision as to what action they choose to take.
We never pass on an e-mail address without the specific written permission of a member.
