Does anyone have a recipe for fresh apple bread..... it is baked in a loaf pan. I used to have one but misplaced it when I moved. It had sliced and peeled apples, pecans and cinnamon. It was almost like a coffee cake. If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it. Big Grin

from virtualcities:

Ingredients
2 cups finely chopped apples
1 cup oil
1-1/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1-3/4 cups flour
2/3 teaspoon baking soda
1-1/3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2/3 cup chopped pecans
2/3 teaspoon each: cinnamon, allspice, cloves
1/3 cup raisins
In a large bowl, beat oil, eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients until well mixed. Fold in apples, raisins, and pecans. Pour into greased 5 x 9-inch bread pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done (use toothpick test).
