I just started health (half-year course) and over the course we must do two current event projects which deal with health. It has to be something that has a development from this year or 2003. I need ideas on what subject to do... it should be something I can get interested in. Thanks for the help.
So far the only thing I could think of was a project on the 'Partial Birth Abortion' because it's something I'm very passionate about, and an example of how it is a current event is because of the recent ban passed by Dubya. However, it is probably too controversial and I would like some other ideas. Typical projects would include examples such as SARS or cloning or stem cell research. |

How about some of the neurological diseases that have had some smaller individual breakthrough developments over the past year. Among them would be Alzheimer's, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinsons and the like. If you do a search on Google (or other search engine), you will find lots of information.
I can understand wanting to select something that you are passionate about, but just a comment...select something that you feel is appropriate for the project at hand, not a position based on ethics... Once you select your project and if you want suggestions or direction, feel free to post again. |
