If you were given the choice between life in prison or death (assuming you are guilty), which would you prefer?

It would depend on a lot of things for me: my age, what goals I had...and I think that's all. It'd be a tough decision also because I've never been in jail before and I don't know if I'd be willing to go there or if I'd rather take death. So....hmmm.

at my age i'd definately take life. Remember life is only 25 years.
So yea I'd rather be a lifer than let the state take my life. I'd rather be shanked in the shower and killed that way than let them legally kill me.

I can't imagine how bad just one day of prison would be, let alone a lifetime. Nevertheless, I would choose Life, partly because survival is a basic instinct, mostly because I wouldn't give 'em the satisfaction of having legally murdered me. How the h-e-two sticks murder can be legal is beyond my comprehension.

I'd rather be dead than to spend life in prison. I don't know if I could survive even a year in prison.

As long as they had ESPN and served butterscotch pudding at least once a week, I'd pick Life.
