PA started a do not call in September. It took two months after I registered before the calls stopped. It was one of the best things I ever did.

I can't wait!! I got a call from Discover card the other day and she kept at me and at me until I had to hang up on her! I understand that this is their job and they have to try to sell me on their product, but after I said "Listen! I do not want the card!!" (like, four times) you'd think she would have gotten the point. But no. It was like she couldn't believe that I didn't want the card! Good grief!

Anyone know if they included the part about letting states have their own ones that are more restrictive to telemarketers? I'm already on the IN one, and there was some concern that the national one would actually weaken it because the national one isn't as restrictive.
