hi.... im in year 12 - and i need MAJOr help with my creative wirting.
i have to write a peice (well a few actually), and it has to be set in the 19th century (preferably europe), and in some way the character has to be an indirvidual.
can be of any text type - preferably short story.
please help me- any ideas for a story line? its urgently needed!

How about something about a poet in the 19th century...living in Europe? You could pretty much choose anything as a particular storyline. Maybe a young guy in love with a woman, but not wanting to let her know? Romanticism in the 19th century was a time of change for people.

Check out THIS site for some thoughts...don't USE what you see on this site, but you could definitely gather some ideas FROM it!!

How about the story of a poor industry worker fighting to survive and traveling around Europe to get a job.

I recommend you to go to any video store and rent some movies telling stories from that time, so you get an idea of what people and life were like in those times. Another choice is reading books of writters of that time (which will take much longer.)
