I am looking to buy a pay as you go phone for emergency use only. Anyone suggest one that can get a signal in the areas from PA to VA.
One brand better than other. Able to buy cards at a variety of places.

My boyfriend uses Virgin Mobile and gets coverage nationwide. Here is a map of coverage for your area.

Virginmobileusa.com shows information on phones and rate plans. You can purchase your activation card at gas stations, drug stores, retail outlets such as Target or Walmart, even grocery stores carry them. I recommend purchasing them at a Target if one is close to you. They are often on sale there.
