Hi,
I was wondering if mobile phones with their antennae sticking out are better in terms of signal strength than the ones with internal antennae like the Nokia 3310? Does it really make any difference in urban area where there are lots of cell-towers.

the 'smaller' mobiles
are sufficiently technologically advanced to work properly even without the antenaas and all...

Yes,
we do happen to originate from neighbouring countries who have a tow since 50 years...hmn...........

Just for the record: being brought up in a very (now what shall I say, liberall atmosphere, or open-minded parents or........well_you do get what I mean to say, right?) I happen to have friends who are very much Indian, and mind you, not through the net! We happen to have 'family-friends' who are Indian and are very much Hindu.

Perhaps it's because ISLAM is the most tolerant religion and
time and again we are instructed to respect humanity,
care for the humanity,
then we are reminded to take care of our environment (trees, plants etc.) aswell;
and in the Quran i.e. our Holy Book it is said that do not degrade anyone on the basis of cast/creed/religion/color etcetera.
It is oft repeated that all beings are mere Creations of the Almighty Allah and thus
are equal~
So
PERIOD

when we are clearly told not to create any difference
atleast my siblings n friends
do not bother!

but the political situation:
Politics is a Dirty Business!!!
as far as I'm concerned.
Though I do appreciate the regime of GENERAL AYUB and I think GenPerveZMusharraf is doing fairly well too.

Qbit the higher the frequency the shorter an antenna needs to be. Also the more directional the signal will be. Being internal should not matter since I think the designs are well modified to overcome any difference there may be.

And in the much maligned words of Rodney King "Can't we all just get along?". That is all it takes one by one to accept our differences. Here's to friends where ever they may be.

u r absolutely right about making friends too.I believe the net is and will play a major part in human-human interactions all over the world and national identities will cease to be dominant.Hey,after all we r the same species aren't we? smile
