MLA Style: Poetry
Poem titles are enclosed in quotes. They are neither underlined nor italicized. Example: Lord Tennyson’s “The Lady of Shalott” reflects the changing roles of women in the Victorian age. But first, find out what style your particular discipline uses. Some don't use the MLA. The American Psychological Association (APA) manual is the second most often used, I think, and the Chicago Manual of Style is next. There is also at least one more, but I can't remember it now. |
