I don't know the origin of this poem so I can only give you my interpretation. This sounds like a suicide note. It sounds as if the person writing is very depressed and is reaching out to someone. The symbols are hidden in his words. 'Being stranded and miles away' would be alone and far away from happiness. He is 'locking himself inside this wall' would be the room he is writing the letter. 'Out there he is wrong' describes his life. I'm not sure how he thinks the letter is going to help him. It is a cry for help.

'On the eve of my defeat' would mean the night that he kills himself. Once he dies, he will be defeated.
