I do not know if this was a dream or an OBE. But I remember I was standing at the foot of my bed and I saw myself & my husband asleep in bed. I felt as if I was awake when this happened.. I remember standing there thinking Ok I can see us, were alseep..It was the wieredest thing ever. I have had OBE's since I was a kid and I have lucid dreams. I also find that I am always tired during the day, I could sleep for 10 hours and I still feel tired, I know it sounds wierd but I feel like even when I am dreaming I feel I am awake in my dreams. I have many dreams of flying and the dreams are so vivid I could see everything below me as i am flying in the air, I could see the lights below, the trees, sometimes i could control where I am going and how fast I am moving and other times it seems like I just go. Sometimes i am flying through a tunnel so fast I feel like i am being sucked in or out of the tunnel. There are times when I am dreaming and realize i am dreaming and I am thinking in my head in the dream about what is going on,,its hard to explain... ************************************************** 05-20-04, 03:53 PM Elexina Sounds more like Astral Travel to me. ************************************************** 05-24-04, 12:40 AM DvdGStwrt OBE, Astral Travel is my leanings on this too.
David ************************************************** 07-15-04, 11:42 PM FairyAngel Well do you usually feel stiff in the morning or you wake with a start? ************************************************** 07-27-04, 03:30 PM Elexina I always wake with a start, whether I've been dreaming or astral traveling or not. ************************************************** 07-30-04, 04:13 PM BookHunter I usually wake up with a start if that makes any sense. ************************************************** 08-02-04, 03:01 PM Elexina Probably not. It probably just means you're not having a very restful sleep, or aren't very deep into your dream state before being jerked awake. Then again, it could be a sign that you are astral traveling. Usually astral travelers wake up with a whoosh or a bang or a start. ************************************************** 08-06-04, 10:53 PM FairyAngel That's why I was asking, either one of those signs means that you've been traveling wether or you remember. ************************************************** 08-09-04, 03:16 PM Elexina Usually it does, yes. But I highly doubt that I astral travel EVERY time I sleep. Of course, that would explain why I'm never very rested... Even when I'm sleeping, I'm up and on the move! Smile ************************************************** 08-11-04, 06:38 PM FairyAngel On another hand, if you're not dreaming/traveling/ or having a OBE, your mind might be too busy to let itself slip into any of those states. In which case you would wind up really tired. Does any of this help Miss Busy-body? Smile ************************************************** 08-12-04, 03:58 PM Elexina Who you callin' Miss Busy-body??!! ************************************************** 08-13-04, 08:36 PM FairyAngel

Didn't mean anything bad, just light hearted teasing Smile. Sorry if I offended. Frown ************************************************** 08-17-04, 01:12 PM Elexina Oh that's fine, my dear!! I know it's the truth. Besides, whenever I type it, I usually end up with "busty" rather than "busy." Is that Freudian? ************************************************** 08-27-04, 08:50 AM BookHunter This is going to be a a confusing question but when a person is asleep and they are dreaming that they are flying and they can see lights below, they see the tops of trees and say wow this is so neat and continue to fly which seems very fast, are they really just dreaming or did they infact leave their body and travel and only perceive it to be a dream?? What about flying through tunnels very fast while dreaming? The tunnel in which I am tring to describe have been described by people who left their body during some accident or something. If that makes any sense. ************************************************** 09-03-04, 02:37 PM Elexina BookHunter, either is really possible. It could be a dream or an OBE.
