Do you think that a dream can change you? For years after I broke up with this guy, I would dream about him, always walking away from me, teasing, laughing and I would wake up feeling alone and sad and yes I really missed him, but one night I dreamed that he came to me and that I walked away. I woke up feeling so different and never really think about him anymore? Has anything like this happened to you?
Yes, dreams can make a difference. I believe they tell us a lot about ourselves. A few of mine have been literal and prophetic; but most are almost pure symbolism. Some don't even make sense when I wake up. And I believe that symbolism is very subjective: You have to figure out what the symbols mean to you personally. It's a fascinating study!

The one dream I had that I will NEVER forget is this: I dreamed I went to a dance where you had to check your false teeth at the door. A huge barrel of water stood there, and everybody took their teeth out and tossed them in. When the dance was over, you had to grub around in the water and try on different pairs until you found the ones that fit.
Explain that, will you?

It could mean that you feel that others would not be telling you what you really think is true. So the false teeth could say that, the largebarrel of water could symbolize the large number of people that are liars, and the overall ending could mean that alot of people lie and get caught up in other people's lies and try to remember their own...

That puts a new meaning to the phrase, 'Dance 'till your teeth drop'.
