Do you think that it's possible that the people we know who have died visit us in our dreams?
I had a dream last night of my mom, I think about her all the time and miss her a lot, the dream was so real, I could actually feel her holding me. It could be an old wives tale.. but I do it anyway especially when my dreams are as vivid as the one you experienced kitty.

He was wearing his old blue wool bathrobe, with the silk cord with tassels. He looked the same age as he did when he died. He smiled at me very sweetly, and told me he was all right. Then the dream ended.
I always understood it to mean that my own mind was reassuring me that he was all right, because I loved him and missed him. It may be that because you miss her so much, that ur dreaming of her. It could be that she has yet to completely cross over and she is still with you. I say this because i believe in reincarnation and that when people die they stay near us for awhile in order to comfort us. I know it's difficult, but maybe you need to let her go. If that is too difficult, try talking to her in your dreams. Maybe if you ask her questions, she will give you the answer you may be looking for. I don't know if any of that helps, but hopefully it does.

I often will have the clock ring oddly, the phone ring funny, the answering machine and door bell buzz. This has been going on for at least 20 years. Also when I'm suppose to get up extra early in the morning, a soft knock wakes me up. In fact, as far as I know that's the easiest way for them to get a living person's attention.
Many times I've read for people who came to me because of electrical devices getting their attention. One that seriously creeped me out was a woman who had just moved into her new boyfriend's house with her children, one of which was a girl about 12. As soon as they moved in, the lights started not working right, the television would change channels, the clocks would reset...all sorts of really really strange things. And it would only happen when her boyfriend wasn't home.
Well she started getting really concerned about the electrical safety of the house and called an electrician. He came and he was very handsome - she was attracted to him. While he was there all of the strange things happened but he couldn't find a problem.
So anyway, finally she called me (she'd heard of me through a friend) and while I was reading her her mother kept coming through. All she would say was "get a clue!" and stuff like that. I kept seeing images that weren't very nice about the daughter.
I told her that I thought there was something fishy about the new boyfriend and she would like to keep the daughter away from him. The woman scoffed and said, no he's fine... .
Well a few months later she sent me a letter saying that she'd come home early from work to find her boyfriend watching her daughter shower. Fortunately he'd never done anything else and the girl didn't even know he was there, so she was okay. The woman left the boyfriend and hooked up with the electrician! Turns out he'd called her after he'd come to check and be sure they were okay. They'd gotten to talking and hooked up.
Her mother was trying to tell her about her boyfriend being a pedophile, and in the process hooked her up with a great guy. All from some flickering lights and a malfunctioning TV! Wink ************************************************** 03-26-03, 09:08 PM doriek Dear Kittypal,
Everyone gave you some great insights. The only thing i can offer is to add to something Elexina and Kalena said.
It's my understanding that our dreams reveal our desires, our experiences, fears and truths about ourselves we may not yet be aware of.
(My father passed away from cancer. And I could not accept it. He was a decent, caring man and I wanted him back. Then, my dreams reminded me of what he would have endured had he lived. And, finally, I accepted it.)
Perhaps, you still desire your mother's love in this life. Your dream may be telling you she's happy, she knows you, loves you, and that you are passing on the warmth and joy she gave to you.
This is only the way i see it, though. Wink
