I heard something on TV the other day about 2 or more people having the same dream and sometimes at the same time. I want to read more about this on the net. There a word for this kind of dreaming but can't remember what it was called.
Do you think people can have the same dream and maybe at the same time?
Do you know what this kind of dreaming is called so I read more about it or do you do a web-site I can go to?

My mom and I had the exact same dream, the exact same night. We were at a long table sitting with my Aunt who died. My Aunt was sitting in the end chair. I was sitting on the left of my Aunt; my mom was sitting on the right. I called my mom the next day to tell her I had a dream and she told me she had one too. I remember looking across at my mom and she remembers looking across from me. I stood up and hugged my Aunt while she was seated. It was so real. I made sure not to give my mom to much info just to see if she experienced what I did. She did. Same dream. It was so strange. I can't explain it but it happened.

this was a dream i had on 10/5/06 (thursday). this dream was about me (corey) and Krystin. This is all i can remember: So i was in the back of the police car, with both of the back windows broken.. from me of course and we were driving on some sort of freeway where this building that seemed to be a hospitle was super close, so some how i hopped out of the car onto the building, i slid a window open and i was in.. i then went down stairs to find out that i was in a mall next, with many cops chasing after me. i tried to get to the bottom floor because being in a mall is just being dead meat. as i got to the parking lot,there i come to realize, i see Krystin standing in front of her car waiting for me. i hop in as quickly as i can, and we speed out of there. She saved me from the police, i will never forget that. as we are driving out of the parking lot 5-6 cop cars are coming in, i duck my head down for them not to see me, and we head off to the free-way. im scared, but im so happy that she came to save me, i love her for that. as we are driving, house pass and i read one of the signs which randomly says. "now entering Massachettes", and i was like ***!!? any way the sky has gotten darker, and the trees have gotten lighter, like brighter with sNOW, it was somewhat snowing and i remember seeing treees with snow on it, and i thought it was soo cool. we got to the point of so much snow, that we couldnt drive any more. so we parked the car, and we started walking. it was snowing and freezing and it was beautiful. i held krystin's hand with my left to her right. as we walked down the freeway with no cars, just us as the snow fell i was happy. i was happy that i was with her, and i couldnt of asked for anything more.
* The Same Day*
I go up to her at snack time, and i tell her i had a dream about her, she said the same thing.. you was a big part of her dream. i told her my dream and she said omg. i had the same dream! We Both Had The Same Dream... at the same time of the night.
Perhaps you connected with each other on some subconscious level and telepathically interacted. Or perhaps there were enough aspects in your dream for there to be enough similarities with hers and they weren't really the same dream. Or perhaps she was lying. There are many possibilities, including coincidence. But if you are intrigued by this you could always attempt to meet each other astrally and see what happens when you pursue each other purposefully in your dreamtimes.

thank you for tak ing the time to reply. i really appreaite it, but it dont think shes the type of girl that lies. maybe we did interact telepathically. maybe my birthday being 2 days befor hers might have something to do with it. i have no idea :] but thanks again
If you know her well, I hope that you could trust her to tell the truth about the event. I think the word "lying" was probably too harsh, but sometimes people do exaggerate or stretch the truth when they think it's what the other person wants to hear, or when it would make the situation more interesting.

I would be interested in some data on this, but I don't think it's likely. People who are psychically connected tend to be that way because of deep emotion and friendship or intimacy, rather than coincidence of birth (unless they are twins, of course).

I had the same dream with my mother years ago. It was a very strange night.
The dream was, my family and I went camping in the woods and we rented this huge cabin by a river. I was in a living room playing by 2 huge glass doors. Suddenly I look and see 2 bees outside the doors looking in at me. One bee was HUGE and the other was small. They suddenly got into the room and started chasing me. I ran as fast as I could from them. I suddenly was outside with my mom and my mom was telling me to jump in the water. So I did and she followed and the dream ended.
Being a kid I woke up and wanted to go to my mom cause I was scared but I found that we both walked out of our room and looked at each other. I told her I had a scary dream of a big bee and little be and she said she did too. She described the exact same dream I had. Ever since then I've wondered how or why that happened?

Me and my twin brother keep haveing the same dream. That were in school and the bell rings to go home. Our dog comes up to us with his head coked and his makes his little grin. Then hes barking at us and acting like he wants us to follow him. We follow him and we go into a cave and see this super bright light and thats all I feel comforptal saying were christan and belave in god but dose this mean it.....
Hi, Last night i had the same dream as a girl who's in my class, Today her friend came to me like: Dean!, ..... dreamed about u ^^. and i was all like ow good for her. then she told me her dream and it was exactly the same as mine! all the details in it even that the clock was broken! what does it mean do we have a connection? like we have de same ancestors of a 1000's of years ago? coz i have readed somethin' like that on another site, anyway hit me back! (plz:P)
I had a dream I was shot and killed. Next morning my mom tells me My daughter in her dream told her that I was shot and killed..(Making a long story short here.) So does this mean that I had a 3-way mutual dream? or is this some kinda vision? My daughter doesn't even remeber having a dream ,but she is still young and prolly can't control her dreams as well. what do ya'll think.

ive ben having nightmares as long as i could remember vivid strange nightmares...not the boogey man but random events...ive always credit it to my past or my use of pot or alcohol after researching the topic for a few years i just chalked it up to those three reasons...last night i had a dream that seemd a bit diffrent....my fiance told me she had a horrid dream the same night..when she mentiond she got a phone call from my brothers ex wife saying that me and her grandfather where in a car crash and died i cringed....my dream was similar but not the same...it was almost as if my dream filled in the blanks of hers....as if life had played out before its time...if that makes sense...im looking for answers of this ive heard of two ppl having the same dream...but what about two ppl 100s of miles away from eachother having coresponding dreams? i saw what happend in mine...i didnt say a word till i heard every detail of hers...they match up perfectly...ive never had this type of thing happen with a dream before...now shes terrifyed and im looking for an explanaition...if anyone has any advice or any answers please let me know
I wanted to know how this is possible since. i am a victim to whatever did this to me and my friend. we were both walking through the hall at school the other day, and i stopped him awkwardly to say hey.. but he beat me to the statement.. i had a dream about you the other night..
i let him continue and describe everything i was about to say.. and.. i just said.. that's crazy..
but we did have the same dream. how?

my sister and i had the same dream, it was about a huge house. we oth went in and there was a really large table with gold cups and plates, there was a lot of doors and armors on the side of each one, thne at the end of the table there was a door in wich i went in, it was a bedroom in there i saw a woman dressed in black doing her hair and make up,and a little girl dressed in white sitting on the bed, the little girl looked really sad and she went out the room into the garden, she sat on a water fountain and started playing with the water and the the dream ended.
my sister and i dream the exact same thing but i couldnt see her and she couldnt see me in there it was really weird
i was wandering if anybody knew what my dream meant??? i had a dream that i was stabbed multiple times and my girlfriends friend found me walking along the sidewalk and he picked me up and took me to the hospital, now i called my girlfriend after i woke up and she had the same dream or close to it, she was stabbed and the same friend took her to the hospital, what exactly is going on?? and we live roughly 30 minutes away from each other.
I had the same dream as one of my friend I will but on here what I can remember: We were at school having a regular day then we started getting evacuated and me and my friend got left behind along with the teachers because we got asked to. I had some Germ-X and I asked one of the teachers if they had a lighter and at first he said no then I asked again and he said yes. One of the teachers was in a fight with the main zombie (the things in my dream) and another teacher she cut off the teachers head then she cut off the Zombies head and he was still alive well just his head and I took the sword away from her and cut of her head for cutting off the teachers head. I was seeing what type of lighter the lighter was and the Zombie head said "Alex uhuh" so I put it away. Then we went to my friends house and we were looking for his sister and we hollered her name we could not find her. We went back the the school and I grabbed the leaders head and went outside while my friend set up bombs...we blew up the school then we set the leaders head on fire then the dream ended. I talked to my friend at school and he said he had the same exact dream and we were just freaked out. If you know why this happened please tell me!!
