I seem to have the same dreams with people that are close to me.
My sister and I had the same re-occuring nightmare when we were younger. I'm not sure if this is because we slept in the same bed.
I also have the same dreams with a select few of my closest friends on the same exact night.
Am I specially gifted or just straight up weird?

Are you Telepathic?

I'm thinking the answer now.

Did you receive it? No... Hmmmm Well gee.

Unfortunately when it comes to dreaming the brain plays mean tricks - especially when it comes to speaking to others about our dreams. We - or our brains - tend to fit meaning to the meaningless whenever possible.

Since I was not there to hear how your conversation with friends and love ones who 'shared' these dreams with you went, I do not know if you all actually had similar dreams (same dreams) or if you all had disturbing, or memorable parts of dreams and as you all talked you filled in the details for each other coming up with a memory of a full detailed dream that was the same.

Next time you have a dream and you find yourself talking about it with someone else who may have had the same dream STOP the conversation, stop talking about it and you two (or three or more) need to sit down with paper and pens and write down your stories.

Taking care to note the details that stuck out, taking care to put it in a clear and concise manner.

Once you all are done writing (this is your final product, no second chances) sit down and compare your written dreams. If they match then there may be a psychic connection. If on the other hand you all have to reach to make the details match, then your brains are attempting to make sense out of the stories and make them meet up.

Of course once is not enough - that could be coincidence, if you can repeat this and get similar dreams over and over again then you need to start thinking parapsychology labs to get this tested.

IF this is telepathy there are tests that can be performed, tests that rule out mere chance and have strict rules to get around the tricks the brain likes to play.

I would guess "neither." Recurring stresses often lead to recurring dreams. I regularly dream that I cannot remember my locker combination or find my class schedule or get my clothes on in time to meet the bus, and I have been out of school for over a decade. Your dreams do not necessarily mean anything about the subject they cover, they may have another message entirely.
Also, it is unlikely that your dreams are exactly the same as your friends', but rather similar and feeding off of each other.

I (think) AM telephetic,
i can read their minds if they are REALLY concentrating on it, without them knowing that i am trying to read their minds.
every electronic thing i touch gives me a shock like EVERYTHING the tv screen, my mobile cell phone, my ipod touch and after getting a shock i only have to look someone in the eyes and then they get one too! but the most weird thing is that i have "exactly the same dreams of the people i last saw before i sleep!
i also tried the writing down before conversation thing, it turns out i really have the same dream.
anyway hit me back
