I'm walking down the hallway of this really big house. I turn on the light in the bathroom and the shower turns on. I turn the bathroom light off and on again and the shower turns on again. I turn away from the glass shower door and hear noise in the hallway. I look but nobody is there. I see an object fly through the air and I grab it. All of the sudden I see some smoke on the hallway floor. It looks like someone is starting a fire. As I look closer, this little boy materializes. He was a sweet little boy about 6 or 7 years old. I asked him his name and he said Shane. Then, a 14 year old girl with brown curly hair materialized. When I asked her name, she said Melissa. I pointed to the boy and asked him name again. He said Shane Devula. I asked again so I could remember it. Melissa said Shane Devula. I think she was the sister of the little boy. The girl told me they were bored. In the dream I thought they were both ghosts who just came to visit me. I asked them why they came to see me and they both said they just wanted someone to play with. When I asked why they don't visit their parents, they told me that the parents never go to the cemetery to visit them and their parents don't care about them. I told them that I don't go to the cemetery but that doesn't mean I don't care about the people there. I told them their families must have loved them very much. I then heard someone call Melissa's name. She said "they" are calling us back and we have to go. The little boy said he was sorry for bothering me. I told them they could visit me anytime they wanted. I hugged Melissa and she started crying. I felt so bad for them in the dream. It was sad. When I walked back down the hallway, I went back to the bathroom and the shower was filled to the top with water. It was on the whole time they were there. I turned on the bottom light and the shower drained. How could I remember the shower after all that? How could I have such a specific name? (Shane Devula) (I looked up that name online and found nothing) I don't see any resemblance to anyone I know either. I didn't watch a scary movie and have NO clue what this means. What do you think? How freakin' weird!

I mean, that is a VERY vivid dream!

But, I liked how you handled yourself in the dream.. what you said and all that. It would be what I would WANT said to loved ones if they were ghosts and encountered anyone.

Anyway, they say that the dreamer is the best person to analyze what a dram means.

I don't know what it means. That is why I posted.

I think that angels are playing tricks with your mind so that you get unnerved enough to continue your waking quest for truth on a higher spiritual level. Such a quest always brings peace in the face of disturbing thoughts in one's waking or sleeping life.

Thanks for your answer tsaeb. I didn't think angels played tricks on people. You can't trust anyone these days. I am always on a quest for the truth. The dream wasn't disturbing- just strange. I have been thinking about going to the cemetary. Maybe I will go after all.

Does your local newspaper have online archives? If Melissa and Shane were real people, there could be some mention of them in the archives.
