Hi! New here.

I own my own business and was wondering that when I serve jury duty if I can write off the "loss of wages" on the days that I serve.

Would anyone know?

TIA

As best as I know, you can't write them off; on the contrary, as a slap in the face, you must claim as income any stipends you receive from the government for serving!(but you might be able to write off those meager amounts as an adjustment to your gross income). Looks like you'll have to work nights or weekends to make up for the lost time and pay.

On the other hand - you never got your mail. I've seen this before. Nothing becomes of it.
